At the Agritechnica fair in Hanover 2013 it was named the 2014 machine of the year. The existing Turbofarmer range introduced nearly twenty years ago was the world’s first telehandler designed for agricultural use. Merlo is now launching this family’s new generation. These new models are the result of 50 years of company experience which further improves the features and performance of the previous range. This is not just a simple facelift, but a completely new range that introduces technology and innovation important enough to convince the jury at Agritechnica in Hanover, the strictest and most experienced judges in the agricultural sector. The new models are part of the Medium Duty family, the heart of the agricultural range, with lift capacity’s of 3.8 and 4.2 tons and operating heights of 7 and 10 metres. Thanks to the latest technology and the experience gained in recent years, Merlo is significantly improving the performance compared with previous models with improved load charts for the entire series, establishing a new bench mark in its category. First of all the new Turbofarmers excel when working with the telescopic boom, this increases the ability to move and lift loads. Just look at the load chart for the TF42.7TT and you can see that not all “4 Ton” telehandlers are equal. The TF42.7TT Turbofarmer lifts 4.2 Tons from 0 to over 7 meters, keeping the promise to customers and becoming the highest performing telehandler in its category.
